Dr. Adetokunbo (Tokunbo) Oshin re-joined Big Win as Senior Program Director after serving as the inaugural Director, High Impact Countries at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, in Geneva, Switzerland from 2021-2025. Tokunbo has more than 23 years' experience in designing and managing flagship initiatives comprising multisectoral health, nutrition, education, social protection and job creation programs to deliver transformational impact at scale in large, federated countries and fragile and conflict settings in Africa and Asia. Tokunbo was Senior Technical Assistant to the Minister of State for Health of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from July 2011 to July 2013 before being appointed as the Deputy Project Director of the US $500million Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Program (SURE-P) Maternal and Child Health Project in Nigeria. He is a medical doctor, holds a M.Sc. degree in Poverty Reduction and Development Management, and is currently serving as a Lancet Commissioner for the new Lancet Commission on Disability and Global Health.
