Data Lead

Big Win Philanthropy partners with visionary African governmental leaders to deliver on initiatives that have the potential to positively and dramatically enhance the life outcomes of their people and the trajectories of their countries. We focus our efforts on the big wins of our partners – not on managing and evaluating our own ‘projects’. We recently adopted a new strategy with a clear accountability target: Over the next five years, we want to have played an integral role in substantially and tangibly improving 23.5 million lives.

We are recruiting a Data Lead (1) to establish and manage an internal monitoring framework that tracks whether we are progressing towards our target – and helps us course correct if we’re not; (2) to provide strategic advice to our governmental partners on their data management and visualization needs, which are key to advancing their human development agendas; and (3) to think critically about how we track results in our leadership development work. The goal of the Data Lead’s work is to set up data systems that help drive our and our partners’ success.
