Isabella Hilber

Isabella Hilber is a Program Manager at Big Win Philanthropy. Prior to joining Big Win, Isabella worked at the Boston Consulting Group, most recently as a Project Leader. She worked across sub-Saharan Africa and Europe and was previously based in Nairobi, partnering with governments, foundations, and private-sector organisations on economic development, investment attraction, job creation, food systems, climate and health. Her work focused on supporting leaders to translate ambitious priorities into implementation, including creating a strong evidence base, strengthening delivery systems, and driving cross-sector collaboration in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. She is particularly motivated by the role that governments can play in expanding opportunity and improving outcomes for children and young people at scale.

Isabella holds a BA in International Development from King’s College London and an MSc in International Social and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

"The work I've enjoyed most has been alongside government leaders who are deeply committed to improving the lives of their citizens. It has reinforced my belief that local leaders are best placed to define priorities and drive lasting change, and I am excited to work with Big Win Philanthropy to support ambitious leaders in transforming the prospects of children and young people across the continent."
